Long mani wall and a prayer flag in Tholing

The most impressive remains in Tholing are also the murals which depict many stories. The mani wall leads the visitors and pilgrims to holy chorten and the gompa of Tholing.
Tholing is the town and seat of Zanda County, Ngari Prefecture, in the west of Tibet Autonomous Region, People's Republic of China.

My picture was captured in May 2004 with Kodachrome 25 ASA and scanned with NIKON CoolScan V ED
