Log Booms on the Fraser River
These big log booms are tied to pylons close to both shores of the Fraser River and are waiting to be towed by the powerful tugboats to their final destination. The logging industry is a big and important one in British Columbia.
I took this image in March.
I wish you all a great Sunday and thank you for your visits and comments.
Special thanks go to Canan Oner for proposing this image for the gallery and to all you kind voters - I am happy about my little star.

Me gustan esas tradiciones madereras, el encuadre es genial con esos troncos flotando en el rio, lástima que nuestros rios no tengan estos caudales ni estos troncos.Saludos. Ramón
