Granma care
Central Africa
Zambia/Zimbabwe
Travelling in the interior, in the villages, and getting closer enough to the locals you get immediately a very tasty sample of what has been labelled as "creatures of a lesser God". Straw huts to live in, dirty rugs spread on a muddy and humid floor to lay and sleep on and elementary kitchen utensils spread here and there to prepare food. Not only electricity is missing depriving them of even the bare facility of preparing a descent lunch or enjoying the luxury of a modest TV screen but even water is scanty obliging them to travel daily to the nearest public tap or well to get it and bring it home. Elderly sit patiently outside their huts taking care of the babies and probably contemplating of a life that has already passed and consummed in absolute poverty and of a resting bit of it that will certainly be an exact replica. And never tending a hand for money...
