This one does not have the log in it. (slightly different angle from the last pic) However, the problem with this/these shots is, If you stray too far from the angles I had you get big ugly buildings or half of a dock. The log is attatched to the dock. In this photo there is no log but when cropping I have a tip of the dock on the top left of the photo or half the plant on the bottom left gone if cropped more. I am not the greatest in PS so I didn't even want to try to edit the dock.

    The snow on the branches give a cold weight to the components of the image that ground the viewer and make wish they'd worn their down coats! Beautifully seen, the composition has interest wherever the eye wanders, and the branches provide some fluid leading lines to keep the viewer engaged. The concentric circles on the water add punctuation and textural contrast. Very nice!

    very nice shot...but that violet reflections...are a little bit distracting...this is my opinion, sure...
    I like the circles on the water...beautiful atmosphere!

    i think this is quite beautiful, the snow on the brancges, the tones and reflections, lovely work, better that first one
