Robert is really a good guy. But lately his taste for music got a little twisted.
Whenever I come to his place there's some weirdo stuff spinning on his iPod.
In those old days there was always some Indie Rock playing. But lately I discover a lot of mainstream R'n'B / Rap shit on his iPod.
Well, but that's not what this picture is about. The other night he told me about this Jay-Z song which triggers those "big emotions", about the city he loves so much ..... New York City.
I'm really an all-metalhead. You know, Maiden, Priest, Helloween .... you name it.
But he is right. This is not just another pop song about a great city. It too reminds me of a great time - maybe one of the best times I had in my life ....
This is my interpretation of this great track.
