Duane Park Patisserie - Tribeca Moment No.12
Duane Street, Tribeca
This Patisserie, occupying space on the ground floor of a Tribeca loft building,
was a favorite motif while shooting on this photo-enticing late spring afternoon.
And not just because I have a sweet tooth! The special quality of the late afternoon sunlight, combined with the Tribeca ambiance, kept me shooting without a break. Must say, though, I did envy the little girl delving into her bag of patisserie treats with such gusto.
I loved the weathered appearance of the black paint on the door, set within the cast iron façade typical of many
of these buildings, reflecting the commercial heritage of this part of Lower Manhattan, complimented by the
bright colors of the plant and bench, and the ever-present Tribeca loft building fire escape.
