Exactly the reason why I use the camera phone! Due to the fact that I have to cross the sea on a long-tail fishing boat twice a day. a small phone that can be a camera as well as a web browser is the perfect option to fit into a waterproof bag! All said, I'd still love a decent camera, but like you I'd probably end up leaving at home! Thanks for the comments, Regards Dawn
HI Dawn, I have a Nikon D90 which cost me £750 plus lenses and the macro detail is not as good a your photos, plus the weight nearly 2kg with all the lenses, I will have to buy one of these camera phones,to carry all the time, and leave Nikon at home for Studio Work, Best wishes from john
Thanks John, but please believe me this WAS a cameraphone. I too was amazed by the ability of the N82 (Nokia) to take Macro shots like this. It has a Carl Zeiss Lens and a Xenon Flash and gives 5m pixcel quality. If it lacks anything it is good quality in Zoom. Although there is a zoom function it is not that sharp. Now I am considering an N86 with 8m pixcel but have to start saving (Really should just buy a decent camera I guess!)
