Afternoon atmosphere in the floodplain "Muldeaue"

I took this image on the 22/10/2020 at 15:47 o'clock in the floodplain of the river "Mulde" in the East of the city "Dessau". Dessau (or Dessau-Roßlau) is the third largest city of the federal state "Saxony-Anhalt" in the eastern part of Germany.

The floodplain - called "Muldeaue" - is a nature reserve. The river Mulde is a left tributary of the Elbe and is 124 kilometres long. The junction of Mulde and Elbe is about 10km in the north of the spot of the photos.

I used a Canon EOS 77D with the EF-S 17-55mm lens. The image is resized and got a color correction of 3-247. I didn't edit it further yet. (7891)

  Liebe Linda,
  vielen Dank für Deine Anmerkung und Dein verlinktes Seerosenbild. Interessanterweise hast Du die englischsprachige Seite erwischt. Seerosen sind immer sehr interessant. Ich mag sie sehr. Ich muß hier im Ruhrgebiet dafür in den botanischen Garten fahren. Der in Bochum ist (noch) geschlossen. Der botanische Garten in Dortmund im Rombergpark hat keine großen Seerosenbecken. Da er eigentlich mehr Park statt Schaugarten ist, kann man ihn mangels Umzäunung nicht so einfach schließen. Die beste Stelle für Seerosenfotos ist meiner Umgebung ist der Westfalenpark in Dortmund. Dort gibt es ein paar Schaubecken, die ich klasse finde. Letztes Jahr war ich allerdings nicht dort und die Seerosen werden erst im Sommer wieder blühen.
