Abraham Lincoln's Assasination Chair

The very chair that Abraham Lincoln was shot in at Ford Theater.

I never saw that before..he does look like he has a confederate hate and a yellow band on his "uniform".

It does make the picture a little dramatic (the info)! Great work, interesting!

Hey Pat, how very interesting. Is it just me or does the man viewing the chair look to be a ghost of a civil war soldier? Well done jimmy :>0

Did you take this photo in the Henry Ford Museum? I once saw that chair standing there.
Anyway: very interesting photo, a tragic bit of history.

Brings back old memories. We used to go to Ford's Theater often. We weren't there when Lincoln got shot though. But we did see Mark Twain and Will Rogers there. Oh, OK, it was Hal Holbrook and James Whitmore, but they sure looked like Mark Twain and Will Rogers.
    Aloha
