@Joerg, wow, I actually find that surprising, because where I come from, the North Schwarzwald bei Pforzheim, there is an Italien Icecream place on almost every corner......hmmmm now I am dreaming of the " Schwarzwaldbecher from the Italien Ice cream parlor "Eis Casal" was their Name,.....with whipped cream and cherries on top ..mmmmm, that is the place to hang-out and eat Icecream and watch the people go by....Manomann wie ich das vermisse!

looks cool - but - regarding heat - I read in our Berlin Morgenpost last week that people in Scandinavia eat more icecream per capita than then Germans ...

Dort möcht` ich jetzt mit Dir sitzen, gemblue und
ein schönes, leckeres Eis essen. Hier schmilzt es
innerhalb kürzester Zeit zu tropfender Eis-Suppe.
Bei 33° C (91,4° F) kann man auch nichts anderes
erwarten. Sieht aus, wie in der Jahrhundertwende,
ich finde, das ist ein cooles Foto geworden.
