While living and working in Germany, I have had the opportunity to travel throughout Europe, parts of Africa, and the Middle East. This need to travel is an extension of my childhood where her family moved around the country quite often. I am grateful for this environment because it provided the creativity and curiosity that today influences my desire to document where I have been and to continue this trend into retirement.
I am heavily influenced by traditional photojournalism and documentary photography style. With a keen eye for detail and natural light, I create imagery across genres such as travel, landscape and documentary. I draw inspiration from capturing real people, in their everyday life. I have a growing interest in historical printing processes which bring with it a sense of timelessness to a long-standing tradition of the vintners.
Working on my MFA in Photography from the Academy of Art University, San Fransisco.
