I live in the Western part of Noord-Holland in the Netherlands, close to the dunes and the sea.
For many years I am interested in photography. My first camera was a Russian 6x6 Lubitel, bought from my saved pocket-money when I was 11 years old.
Now, for the SLR' s I make use of Nikon equipment only. In 1998, together with a few fanatics we started a photo club where we stimulate and critique each other. See also www.fotokringpolderlicht.nl
Landscape and nature photography are my most favourite subjects. I really would like to spend more time for photography, but combining photography with my work as a sales director at a trading company in raw materials, you can imagine that time is an essential factor.
