Which Way India

When you shoot in a country and get into what is going on you begin to see where the fiber of nationalism fades into separation and isolation.
Lets not fool ourselves. India has forgotten its people. The only Natives from this country that shoot with a camera are privilege class. They command the english language better than 99 percent of the country and really think how to improve their own life.
Take this simple image of a Sadhu asking for food from me, and this mtv video which reveals the Selfish New India , a culture for the ,"I want to be like the western society".

The Indian government has opened street cleaning to all just as the untouchables do... By hand and card board. If you think street clean isn't a bad profession like it might be in Your western country. Do go to India and walk the street in Varanasi a,d Allahabad where the police beat innocent people trying to get on a trail.

So what is happening. Simply India is growing and there are many social and personal adjustments to respect.
The hardest will be men holding ing on to the old and wanting the new , and for women in India. making it clear they don't need men for their personal sexual evolution.

If Inida continues to make everone want the new del , they they must make it possible for all to have a path into the "New Deal of being leisure people".

Indian society is complex and very divided this was the case before the British empire days. The rush to Western culture has divided a nation even further.

Sadly we in the west only see the Bollywood image and not the images that Glenn is showing here of the True India.

Learning to speak English is a way to get them into International call centers based all over this country exploiting cheap labour markets

You feel for these people trying to scratch out a living anyway possible, hard for us to comprehend

    Regards
    Bryan
