in rottweil is the largest of its kind in the world at 807 ft (246 m). its viewing platform at 762 ft (232 m) is the highest in germany and only 44 metres (144 ft) shy of the visitor's platform of the eifel tower in paris. you get up to the top at 8 m/s and the membrane that covers the construction can be seen through from inside the tower.
