This Picture of Jupiter and it's four brightest moons (aka the galileian moons) was taken with a Canon 20Da DSLR placed in the primary-focus of a 12-inch catadipotric telescope (LX200R, f=3000mm, f/10).

Exposure: 0.2s @ ISO100
Location: 47.4105 8.9168 (near Zürich, Switzerland)

    Excellent capture! Actually, I tried to capture this planet myself a few days ago, but nothing worth showing. I also saw the 4 moons, but I didn't know it was the moons as you describe here. Very interesting picture and the additional information.
