@wolfgang, sorry i totally disagree with your opinion, a gallery phot has NOT to be perfect in technique but has to bring up emotions and show you feelings.
Wolfgang: Then you voted contra to a lot of pics already in the gallery with bad scans and noise. Like "untitled
by .oliver .d." that has the feeling and the story but it is a lousy scan ( and I voted pro on that)...Sorry, but your reason is not enough.
Sorry, I agre with Martin.
For sure is photography much more than technique - but a picture which should be voted for the galerie has to be of hiqh quality - not only artistique but also if it comes to technique.
contra - Wolfgang
Artifacts does not take anything from a composition and a story. What you are saying, for me, is that you don't want an mp3 of any cool artist because it's too compressed.
Photography is about communication and feeling, not about science. Boring technicalities leads you to boring pics.

It's a fine motif, fine composition. But unfortunately the technical quality is bad with poor scan-quality and -artifacts and hard JPEG-compression.
Sorry, but contra.
