Lucky guy to own a car like this old beauty. And a beautiful night impression, too, your photo.
I have an old video from the Targa Florio of 1965, with Vaccarella and Bandini winning the race with their Ferrari. Vaccarella as a local hero from Palermo (here he was a schoolmaster) facing a cheering crowd of spactators after th race. His name still occurs as old writings on the walls lining the Targa track. Fantastic !!

  Nino Vaccarella, nicknamed later the "flying head", as he then directed (until a few years ago) the Collesano secondary school, one of the countries crossed by the legendary Madonie circuit (about 75 km) where, for 7 laps, we ran the Targa Florio.
  
  Nino Vaccarella, soprannominato in seguito il "preside volante", in quanto poi ha diretto (fino a pochi anni fa) la scuola media di Collesano, uno dei paesi attraversato dal mitico circuito delle Madonie (circa 75 km) dove, per 7 giri, si correva la Targa Florio.
