Suddenly - on February 22nd (2)

after one short snowfall in November and no snow at all thisl Winter and so many flowers already out, we had 3 days and 2 nights of continuously falling snow - today it is all melting again, and the sky is blue and the sun warm...

Beautiful winter scene Adele. The color contrasts are wonderful and that bench adds the human element and interest to the photo.

I like the contrast between the willows and the snow - some how a contradict.

Superb shot, Adele, one of those wonders that often you pull out of your drawer just to remind us that photography is not only skill but also mood and feelings..
A winter scene full of simplicity, the weeping willows in smooth colour, the bareness of the snow covered park and the empty bench lonely and miserable in a corner of the cadre, all stand there strong elements of a lovely pic but also reminders that spring is not yet so close enough!...

It is a so nice picture....with all these ''saules pleureurs'' and this lonely little bench !

well, it certainly makes an interesting picture.
I would have gladly given up some of our snow here in New Jersey,
In fact there is more coming on Monday.......
we sure had more than our share this year!!!

A beautiful scene Adele. Where I live in Scotland we also have had no snow this winter, but I was reading a report from Hamish MacInnis (a famous Scottish mountaineer) that the highlands of Scotland have had the biggest and deepest snowfall for 70 years.
