Yes Robert, I also don't like the white spot. But I am lazy to do post editing n find a strobe is too clumsy. So I pushed my Canon IXUS 850 to the limit n it drown (on this trip) :-(
Anyway, just for you I will add another specially marinated octopus with less spots. see next photo :-)

good capture you did by this motive. In fact, Lembeh is the home for critter life.
This pic shows a typical behaviour of the coconut octopus, who took whatever to be found as a "home".
The title you have choosen gives me a good laugh (-;
I don't mind if the octopus is pickled, as long as it is still in one piece. At least, some creatures can make use of the trash we throw into the seas. But you might wish to do something about the distracting bright blots in the background. After all, it is pickled and not speckled octopus. Cheers Robert.
