Neist Point Lighthouse

Der Leuchtturm von Neist Point liegt malerisch auf der gleichnamigen Halbinsel. Im Hintergrund liegen unter den Wolken die äußeren Gebriden North and South Uist verborgen.

Aufgenommen im Juli 2013 am frühen Abend. Kurz vor dem Sonnenuntergang schob sich dann eine Wolkendecke über die Bucht, so dass mir ein Photo mit Abendlicht auf den Klippen leider verwehrt blieb.

Neist Point Lighthouse is situated right at the tip of a magnificent peninsula of the same name. Hidden under a thick layer of clouds in the background are the Outer Hebrides North and South Uist.

Captured in the early evening hours in Juli. 2013. Just before sunset, a layer of clouds moved in accross the bay. Therefore, I missed out on a shot of the evening sun shining on the stunning cliffs.
