In the Blood of Christ's Torment
In spain there are many social levels to the religious tradition found within Catholicism and is reveled with in the many brotherhoods that take place. The pomp and glory of the old oral tradition acted out in the hearts and minds is somehow reflected in the extreme had of the night, while the best of the best, the sergeants as I call them are splattered with the dripping wax, making even tougher to keep a safe body temperature during the slow and long procession n the night.
Here this person just seemed to reveal in it the moment and showing his personal likeness of madness. The spots of wax stains in his mind becomes the splits of Christ's blood. Was this man in his mind a crucifier or The played out torment of christ coming to an end on the cross.
I'll never know. They don't talk. They just appear intimidating.
In the tale of The crucifixion, these wonderful people represent the death of Christ. However intros case the red candles are symbolic of the blood of christ and that he is near death. Black robes and black candles will probably mean the Jesus is dead.

"Dark christ passes from lily of Judaea to carnation of Spain". Lorca described it. It's archaic. S.
