Haystacks war der Lieblingsberg des Pioniers der Kletterbewegung dort - Alfred Wainright (meiner auch!).
Weil er zentral in den Lakes liegt, eine herrliche Rundumsicht bietet und einige interessante,
aber nicht zu schwere Passagen hat
- alles machbar :-)

Haystacks was Alfred Wainright's favourite mountain and after his death his ashes were spread on the top.
And it's also mine because of the great number of mountains you can see from the top (on clear days you can see Scotland)
and it's a fine walk with some craggy places.
