Great Falls Rapids, Early Spring

Safe above the torrential rush of the rapids at Great Falls on the Potomac
River, the pastel greens of new growth are signs of the coming of Springtime.

The view was captured from the Great Falls Overlook Trail in
Potomac, Maryland on an afternoon last April. This is its first appearance.

The scene was shot on Fujichrome Provia 400X transparency film,
through a Yashica ML 135mm f/2.8 lens on a Contax 137MD.
