We have these here by us to and they fit well into the Countryside here in the Western Cape, they are situated on farms where wheat is grown. They look much better than the nuclear PowerStation about 15 km away in the same area.

Good composition and good tonal ranges - almost an abstract, this picture. We have far too few in our countryside - but then -------

Recognisable, and because of the b-w use a bit abstract. Great pic.

Well Sue, that is a subject lots of discussions have been held about allready.
I certainly agree with you that there are many places where i do not like to see such windmills. The area where i live, and where this was shot, is a very young polder land, reclaimed from the sea only some 35 years ago. All roads, rows of trees etc are straight, and clearly created by man. In THAT landscape i personally believe these windmill fit very well.
Every time again when i drive over one of the large bridges bringing me from the "old" land to this new area i am surprised again about how they fit here.
