Massif des Calanques - Marseille - France
The Massif des Calanques is the rocky coast that stretches from Marseille to the small town of Cassis, 30 km to the east. Crisscrossed by small coves like the one in the photo, the landscape attracted Greek seafarers who founded the colony of Massalia (Marseille). Marseille is now the second largest city in France.
