Border checkpoint Laos - Yunnan

We were on the borderline Boten, passover to China. While Boten is part of Laos, most of its inhabitants speak Mandarin Chinese as their native language.
Easy to enter China with a visa, but problems to drive in with the own car. We should need special insurance and get Chinese liasion officer as sidecar passenger.
