Birds Over Funks Lagoon
I formatted this to 4" X 12" to give the viewer a better sense of the flatness of the terrain as well as to allow one to see the massive skeins of snow geese and other waterfowl migrating northward. This area is referred to as the pot hole region, an area of small ponds, wetlands and lagoons that have provided cover and food to hundreds of thousands of birds for over ten thousand or more years
Most of the birds are lost in the grainy areas, so it's hard to see that were well into two to three thousand birds strung out for at least a mile or more long..
