After-Life in Punta Arenas (3)

in the cemetery of Punta Arenas, Chile..... the whole cemetery is surrounded by a high wall where the urns of loved ones are kept ... a five storey arrangement here, my linked image has eight storeys .... a truly unusual way of saving space ...

Quite an interesting set-up! I wouldn't think such a space problem could exist in Punta Arenas!...Nice documentation,Adele.

    Gelungene Aufnahme,

This way of keeping the urns is a most sensible way. Population in these cities there dont keep much space for the living,- so why should the dead use so much. It is nice, that there is a possibility to decorate the places individually.
    A very interesting documentation.
    Kind regards,
    Brigitte

    bien vu

At least there is some room for decoration - not just name plates.

LG! a.

This is a spectacular view of the wall covered with niches for the urns. Kind of public housing for dead ones !! Very interesting capture - Hugs, Elvi
