Bei diesem Foto wünscht altae ausdrücklich konstruktives Feedback. Bitte hilf, indem Du Tipps zu Bildaufbau, Technik, Bildsprache etc. gibst. (Feedbackregeln siehe hier)
The first thing actually striking me is the fact that the first lamppost on the quai is going trough the upper frame line. A few more steps backwards could have solved the problem.
Thanks for your comment. I agree that cutting off the lamp post is suboptimal. Unfortunately there was no more room left to step back. And the 45mm was the only lens I had on me when we visited the place so I had no alternative since I definitely wanted to include the boat into the frame. I also tried portrait orientation but the result simply wasn't as pleasing as the landscape one. So I had to compromise and cut off the lamp post to get the shot. Sometimes you have to work with what you've got. And in that particular moment it was no tripod, one camera and one lens :-)
