A Huge Hello My Friends, From Perth, The Capital City Of West Australia!! Story Within.

A Huge Hello My Friends, From Perth, The Capital City Of Perth!! Story Within.

Greetings all, from Central Perth, the Capital of Western Australia.
West Australia, being the second largest state in the world!!
With a total land area of 170610 km² or 1,021,478 SQ. MILES.
That sure is big!!
Well the weather is cool as you can imagine, with rain falling at intervals, but it is needed to fill the water catchment areas.
I will be here for about a week before heading into the hills of Kalumunda.
Head down and tail up in the air.
As soon as my belongings are sorted out, I shall visit my family in Queensland.
Before returning to Asia.

My photo was one I took in Karratha.
The Australian Ghost gum (Eucalyptus papuana) is an evergreen tree
Which reaches heights of up to 20 metres.
On dark nights when travelling, the bark seems to illuminate in the moonlight and then
totally disappears when a cloud comes over, making the outback somewhat eerie looking.
Hence the name Ghost Gum.
It together with the Eucalyptus salmonophloia (Myrtaceae), the Salmon Gum , have beautiful
smooth thin barks.
Bless you all!!

Walkabout John.
