Inzwischen fragen mich immer mehr Freunde und Bekannte warum ich meine ganzen Kameras abgegeben habe. Dies ist leicht erklärt:

Mein Smartphone ist viel leichter und kompakter als eine sperrige Kameraausrüstung. Beim Reisen möchte ich mich nicht mit zusätzlichem Gewicht belasten. Das Smartphone passt problemlos in meine Tasche oder sogar in die Hosentasche.
Vielseitigkeit:
Mit meinem Smartphone kann ich nicht nur Fotos machen, sondern auch Videos aufnehmen, Anrufe tätigen, Nachrichten senden und im Internet surfen. Es ist ein Alleskönner, der mir viele Funktionen in einem Gerät bietet.
Schnelligkeit und Spontaneität:
Wenn ich etwas Interessantes sehe, kann ich sofort mein Smartphone zücken und ein Foto machen. Es gibt keine Verzögerung durch das Hantieren mit verschiedenen Objektiven oder Einstellungen. Das Smartphone ist immer griffbereit.

Moderne Smartphones haben beeindruckende Kameras mit hoher Auflösung und fortschrittlichen Funktionen. Für den durchschnittlichen Nutzer sind sie mehr als ausreichend, um qualitativ hochwertige Bilder zu erstellen. Natürlich kann eine professionelle Kamera noch bessere Ergebnisse erzielen, aber für den Alltag reicht das Smartphone völlig aus.
Keine Hemmschwelle:
Manchmal fühle ich mich mit einer großen Kamera beobachtet oder habe Hemmungen, fremde Menschen zu fotografieren. Mit dem Smartphone kann ich unauffällig Bilder machen, ohne Aufmerksamkeit zu erregen.
Sofortige Bearbeitung und Teilen: Nachdem ich ein Foto gemacht habe, kann ich es direkt auf meinem Smartphone bearbeiten und über soziale Medien teilen. Das ist praktisch und spart Zeit.
Warum keine Spiegelreflexkamera? Natürlich sind DSLR-Kameras großartig für professionelle Fotografie, aber für meine Reisebedürfnisse sind sie oft zu sperrig. Eine Kameraausrüstung bringt schnell 4/5/6 oder mehr Kilogramm auf die Waage und will ich das unterwegs als mit rumschleppen? Nein, bestimmt nicht mehr!
Insgesamt ist das Smartphone für mich die praktischste Wahl auf Reisen – leicht, vielseitig und immer griffbereit!

Sometimes I feel like I'm being watched with a big camera or I'm hesitant about taking photos of strangers. With my smartphone I can take pictures discreetly without attracting attention.

Why not an SLR camera? Of course, DSLR cameras are great for professional photography, but they are often too bulky for my travel needs. Camera equipment quickly weighs 4/5/6 or more kilograms and do I want to carry it around? Not really!
