thanks... I actually do like this picture a lot too... it kinda reflects the emotions I had when I went there... see a lot of people were just walking by... as if they werent even interested that so many people have died... on the other hand there were those who were pretty interested... I dunno if those were the kids or the grandchildren of those who died... but one thing was clear... no matter what happend to those who died... life has to go on for those who survive...and I think it is a bit shown in the people walking by in in reflection of the stones...
I'm glad that you like the pic!
Sorry just getting around to this photo, Its one of my favorites I must say now, I like how you captured the people just in their the daily sense, walking by in the reflection.
awsom....
well...I lived in the states for a year.... during that time I also made a trip to dc.... that's when I took this pic.... I dunno but I juts felt really touched by this monument... and I'm glad that this is obviously shown in this picture!

I like this a lot... there's a lot going on with the reflection and the shape-shifting, I see an uneasiness in the observing figures... makes for a thought provoking image. I like it very much.

very nice... I live 10 minutes out side of DC, so I get to see this monument a lot, but not like this. It's a new perspective for me.Diana Davidson 12. Februar 2005, 18:11
