Hi!
I'm Karen, living in Amsterdam, and working as a PhD student in physics. My German is not so good, thats why I write in English. If you want to send me a message: I can read it in German.
I started taking photographs when I was about ten. I got a camera for my birthday, that could not zoom or anything but I made lots of pictures with it.
In May 2003 I finally bought my first digi: an Olympus C-740UZ. That's where I am now: learning how to use my camera, and playing around a bit. I do not have a favourite subject, though I'd like to focus a bit more on people, nature, Amsterdam and/or architcture. If you have technical comments on my photo's please tell me: I would like to learn a bit more. Hope you like my pictures, and I'm looking forward to reactions

Warum bist Du so sparsam damit?
An mangelnden Motiven kann es nicht liegen.
Bitte mehr Bilder aus dem schönen Holland!

hi karen,everytime i see persons from the netherlands i´m happy.
because the netherlands is only 18 km away and everytime good for a visit and to make pictures! ;-)
zandvoort is one of my favorite see locations.
