After a two-day tow from the Norwegian part of the North Sea,
MAERSK GIANT arrived along side quay on 28. June 2012 in Hirtshals,
were the rig will undergo a yard stay of approximately 80 days duration.

The comprehensive upgrade that the rig will undergo during then yard stay
will extend its lifetime withnat least 10 years
