Marsh Gentian
I found a few exceptional plants while exploring the bogland. Here’s a 3th. one.
With its violet-blue funnel-shaped flowers, Marsh Gentian is a very ornamental plant that loves to grow in swampy wet soils. It’s becoming more and more rare nowadays and stands on the Red List of threatened species !
Location : nature reserve ‘Hohes Venn’ (Kutenhart - Belgium)
Dutch name : Klokjesgentiaan
German name : Lungen-Enzian
Latin name : Gentiana pneumonanthe
