Decades ago I came from Düsseldorf. When still shooting with film, I used a Nikon F2 and a Nikkormat. Once I settle down in a house, I will have hopefully the space to set up my scanner. I have lots of slides (Dias) stored away and would like to see how they scan. Right now I live in Citrus Heights, a suburb of Sacramento, California.
As you maybe can see from my website, I just take travel snapshots, up to now, with a Nikon D70, and recently with a Nikon D90. I try to travel a couple of times a year. I do various things, being now retired, to stay busy. A bit of CGI, a lot of working out, movies, books. A simple guy living a simple life. Right now I need to stay here, but in fall 2009, I expect to hit the road again and use USAF transportation to get to Singapore and on my own from there up (beziehungsweise runter) the island chain toward Australia and New Zealand.

Hallo Karl,Deine Reiseschnappschüsse gefallen mir sehr gut, und ich hoffe ja sehr, dass Du uns noch möglichst viele eingescannte Dias zeigst.
Deine Homepage kann ich ohne Probleme öffnen. Sie ist ja sehr interessant. Diese 3D-Sache ist mir völlig neu, das muss ich mir mal näher anschauen, ebenso Deine Reisefotos.
Bei meinen Chinafotos habe ich einen enormen Standortvorteil, denn ich wohne seit zweieinhalb Jahren hier in China. In knapp drei Wochen gehe ich allerdings zurück nach Deutschland.
