Thomas - I left comments on two of your Mermaids photos. I really like what you've done using textures. I think you understand that for portraits the texturing should be subtle so as to not draw attention from the subject but enhance the overall presentation.
I'm impressed that she is studying advanced mathematics. Differential equations can be a difficult subject for many as I know from teaching the subject.
Dear Jim,
I would so much like to know what you think about this one.
Clearly it is inspired by your series from Iceland. I ought to have said thanks.
The posibility showed up when I found a bunch of grunge backgrounds on my archive drive. Why nor put them in front instead, and make them transparent with multiply. I really got myself a surprise! That was all it took.
Indeed this one is my grandchild. Today she is struggling with differential equations and all.
Greetings, Thomas
Dear Jim,
thank you so much for the analytic approach to this picture. You are truly gifted in this department too. You are right about every observation. I just wasn’t aware of it. This was very much on my mind that day. Children grown up, not as much contact as you would like, etc..
They say that making pictures has some therapeutic benefits.
Greetings, Thomas
Thanks Jim for your nice comments. It means a lot. The square root of minus one divided by the square root of minus one, equals one. Can one argue against that? So, two wrongs make one right, sometimes : ) I checked your website. awesome.
Greetings, Thomas
