Hi Dominic. Thanks for your kind comment on "my new day" at New Brighton Pier. Yes our little seaside suburb is obviously named after yours. This is the new pier and has only been there for about 15 years. There was another there earlier last century but I never saw it. I strolled along it last week with a brisk easterly slapping at my clothes. A few guys were pulling in herring off the end. Your work continues to inspire. Cheers..Rob (NZ)
Hi Dominic Thanks for your comments on the yachts I did not see the bird when I shot the photograph only after I downloaded it onto the computer,I thought about cloning it out but left it ala naturel to see what the comments would be.Regards from Australia.....John
I like your varied selections of work, whether landscape or macro, you have an easy ability to get the camera to say what you saw. If I can achieve half the results I will be a happy photographer. Great works..Cheers..Rob NZ
Thanks for your complimentary comment. I like your photos too, especially the landscapes. They are very well composed on the traditional gemometric principles and almost Gainsborough-like in feeling for the English countryside.
