Love your profile. I find it hard to be as concise. I very much enjoy the psychology of art, especially photography. I'm very involved in the perception of color in those with mental retardation, autism and schizophrenia. I think art therapy is very beneficial for people with communication impairments. I'm also very curious as to the roll religous view play in personal perceptions of art and the world.
On John Berger - are you talking about the essay on the perception of women and men? I was really swayed by his writing on the critical worth of art based on high brow intellectuals vs. each person's own value on a work. I think that hit me even more so after exploring the Expressionists and Fauvism. Really changed my world.

It's been two decades since I read that book - I'm going to go back and read it again.
Thanks for your comments. I really enjoyed your portfolio. Will be watching you.

In the gallery voting you wrote "nice picture, but it provides a skinny, dried fish like image, sort of irritates me - skip"I fell out my chair laughing. (no disrespect to Paul McCartney) Cheers, Patrick
