Hi Helen, I noticed that when you wrote to Yolander in Florider, and the trouble you had with over exposed pistures from to strong a light. Well, I don't know if anyone has mentioned this before but how about neutral density gray filters, these will cut down the level of light transmitted by the sun and you can and allow you to use a wider appatures for creative use I'm sure your nearset camera shop will give you good advice on this.
Regards John.
Hello Helen, thank you very much for your nice comments on my fotos! Certainly I am able to understand your english. Would be a pitty if I wouldn't! I like your pictures a lot and am honoured to communicate with a famous author! ;-) Kind regards Philipp
First of all I'd like to thank you for your comment on my picture
. Happy to hear that you like it. I took it when I lived in New York. Unfortunately that is now already four years ago... At the end of my stay in the US I also visited San Francisco and it is quite nice to see some pictures from the city made by a person living there. It's quite different from the pix I made as a tourist! :-) But I like them!
Hi Helen,
thanks for stopping by my pictures and for your nice words about them. I'm glad you like them.
With those words I can picture you as a writer :-)
In your profile I see a long history of warm thank you's from a lot of people. I guess it's sort of an honour if "Helen" dropped by! Somehow that's how it feels to me at least. Funny hey?
You have produced a couple of real nice pictures yourself! One I like in particular is the "Marco Island Valve". Strong composition and nice combination of colors.
Hello Helen, thank you very much for your positive note to my pic "old Reichstag Berlin". Now I will take my time to view your photographs...I see, photography is a universal language ;)
Have fun with it - Regards, Jan
