Photography is just one of my interests. My preferred themes are woods, mountains and glaciers. I am also interested in people and their cultural heritage. While travelling around the world on my holidays it is unavoidable to shoot some other subjects.
My occupation is in the field of material science and technology, and I have a job in the industry. This gives me the opportunity to look at nature from a different perspective, maybe with even more love and care.
I like to experiment! I admire the art of the Dutch Masters, some French impressionists, the surrealists (like Salvador Dali) and David Lynch movies.
I use digital cameras only but I don’t like to discuss technical details here because the camera is just a tool to capture the moment and mood of the scene. Sometimes I use digital processing of the original shots.
At first the titles of my photos may not mean much to you, but they have a deep meaning for me.
I was born in Sofia, Bulgaria, in 1970. I live in Germany (in Niedersachsen) but I consider myself a citizen of the world and a child of globalization. (Of course I speak German, but I wrote my profile in English so that more people can understand.). I would be glad to receive your comments.
