Along the coast of the Normandie are many great natural motifs, like this great cliff coast in Étretat.

Many people throughout europe come here to get a few days of recreation. If it is the campsite or a luxurious hotel, when you walk along the coast of Étretat and watch closely, you can see that the cliffs are made mostly of chalk and flint (firestones).

Many world-renowned artists, like Eugène Boudin, Gustave Courbet & Claude Monet were attracted to this place. They came here for the inspirational nature and recreation.

The town of Étretat is crossed by the the GR 21 (long-distance hiking path) from Le Havre to Le Tréport.
