an evening view from the Burrard bridge onto to the Burrard Civic Marina and highrises of the Westend with the Granville bridge in the background - taken Dec. 4th - and yes, I can see our sailboat down there :-))

A fine view over the marina to the sky scapers in the background illumiated by the evening sun. In my impreesion it's a large marina, even compared with larger cities like Bremen here in Germany.

Un port très important et très beau au pied des buildings :on voit bien le pont ! Très belle vue d'ensermble .Vancouver semble une très belle ville .

Das ist ja eine wahnsinnig große Marina, Adele.
Wir mussten uns leider von unserem kleinen Segelboot aus gesundheitlichen Gründen trennen...leider....seufz...
Beide sind wir gerne am Wasser und auf dem Wasser.

  danke, liebe Babs - eine von 11 Marinas in Vancouver selbst mit noch weiteren in den Vororten - es ist eben eine riesige Stadt. Es tut mir leid, dass Du nicht mehr segeln kannst - das wird mir
  wohl auch bald so gehen !!!

Le port, le pont, les buildings, la ville : une large vision d'ensemble très nette, très détaillée, le regard s'y promène et découvre tout avec un grand plaisir visuel! La Marina est vaste et pleine, le pont enjambe l'espace liquide avec une dextérité métallique et le béton est roi dans cette ville très moderne! Compliments Adele, une photo splendide!
