Hi again,No the German isnt easy to me, and its been at least 3 years since I wrote or spoke german now:)
That is just the point....this place is where all the kids does their skating because they had a rejection on the skater place they where promissed, and YES its a VERY uglu place, a parkinglot in the besement actually, that was the story in it. There was several other pictures with this article, both with the boys skating, all of the building and so on. This picture was just used for the intro of the article where there was pictures of the different guys who where interviewed:)

hi christina,now i am a little bit confused. why are you answering in english? it seems to me, that you have no problems to comunicate in german.
to me, it is as well, but thinking of this institution, as an open portal for germans in the first row, i can not understand this...
but now somthing to the theme:
you say this is a shot for a skatemagazine!
but the boy does not look like a typical skater. and the background is ugly only, but not a very typical skater-palace ;-)
where is his board or are his shoes?
i do not want to seem bad-mannered, but which magazine is interested in photos of such a low quality?
to me (IMHO) this is only a picture of a all-day-boy in front of an ugly scene - excusamente!

Im sorry but yoyll get this reply in English:)This portrait was shot for a skater magazin and the buildings behind is where this guy skates......in the article there where seperat pictures of the building aswell:)

hallo christina,bei allem respekt, aber ich finde nicht, dass er gut getroffen ist.
warum nimmst du fuer ein portrait einen solch grausamen hintergrund?
viel zu schaebig und unruhig.
leider hat er wohl auch nichts mit dem charakter des jungen zu tun - oder?
das di belichtung nicht stimmt wurde ja schon gesagt.
versuche mal ueber dem kopf zu beschneiden - ich denke das rettet wenigstens noch etwas.
lass dich nicht entmutigen, sondern nimm diese kritik als anlass zu ueben!!!

Hallo Christina,ich habe jetzt schon gelernt, daß man Neue willkommen heißt, also : Herzlich Willkommen.
Einen kleinen Tipp noch für die Portraitphotographie. Es wirkt immer besser wenn dem abgelichteten Menschen nichts "aus dem Kopf wächst".

Hallo ChristinaIch hab Dich gerade für das "Synchrongrinsen" gelobt. Dieses Bild ist nicht so perfekt. Das Mädchen ist doch nicht wirklich so blass?

Gut getroffen, allerdings ist das Gesicht etwas zu hell, wohingegen der Pullover etwas zu dunkel ist. Vielleicht könntest Du das Bild auch noch etwas drehen - wenn Häuser schief stehen, sieht das immer irgendwie komisch aus - finde ich.Gruß Dörthe
