Night Trains No.1 - MARC Platforms Penn Station, Baltimore

There's no doubt, were I shooting this scene today, the medium would be digital.

But this was 2000 and my cameras were entirely of the film species ;-)

Here, late on a cold winter night, MARC commuter trains slumber until it's time to wake up
at Zero-Dark-Thirty and prepare for boarding the throngs of Washington-bound passengers.

Meanwhile, every now and again, a platform will briefly come alive with the arrival or departure
of the last Amtrak Northeast Corridor express trains of the night, bound for Philadelphia, Newark,
and New York to the north, or to Washington and points south.
