Heather in bloom

Thanks to the warm september weather, the last 2 weeks the heather was in full bloom everywhere and gave the scenery a purple glow.

Only thanks to the efforts of diligent sheep, the heather beauty can be maintained annually. Otherwise, the heath would transform into ordinary grassland very quick.
