The view from the roof deck of the NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam.
The Oosterdok (dam) was built in 1832 and this artificial basin is part of a construction to protect the city of Amsterdam against high tides.

A very good view across the city and its dam.I remember that lovely building that looks sort of oriental from when we too a boat trip along the canals to see the sights.
