Hi Uli , first of all a healthy 2022 and many travels . I am sure that 1 day you will come up with that kind of images ,and yes a portion of luck is sometimes needed. I am sure that you have seen , that cub isn't that small anymore and the mother could only slowly walk so we had time to position us in the good direction at a low angle, a long lens was helpful and did the rest, so yes indeed I was fortunate to witness , I share your experience with the big nr of cubs ,lots, promising for next year, and above all , few visitors.
