Im Alter von 18 Jahren habe ich von meinem Großvater eine Canon 300D geschenkt bekommen, konnte aber nicht wirklich etwas damit anfangen. In dieser Zeit lernte ich jedoch einen Freund kennen, der mich mit seiner Begeisterung für die Fotografie nicht nur motiviert, sondern auch inspiriert hat, die Welt in einem neuem Licht zu betrachten. Sowohl das Hobby als auch die Freundschaft zeigten bald Langzeitqualitäten.

Nach wie vor ist die Fotografie ein Hobby, welches mich antreibt und mich dem Alltag zu entreißen vermag. Phasenweise mangelt es an Zeit und manchmal auch an Motivation aktiv zu werden, aber ich möchte sie nicht mehr aufgeben.
Die Freude daran, wenn man erkennt, dass man sich weiterentwickelt hat, das Streben nach dem nächst Besseren, die entwickelten und gedruckten (eigenen!) Bilder an der Wand, welche eine Erinnerung konservieren... wie sollte ich das ersetzen?

Ich schätze, manchmal braucht man nur einen Menschen, der die Richtung weist, um neue Wege einzuschlagen.

Hello everyone!

At the age of 18, I was given a Canon 300D by my grandfather, but I couldn't really do anything with it. During this time, however, I met a new friend who not only motivated me with his enthusiasm for photography, but also inspired me to look at the world in a new light. Both the hobby and the friendship soon showed long-term qualities.

Photography is still a hobby that drives me and allows me to escape from everyday life. At times I lack the time and sometimes the motivation to get active, but I don't want to give it up.
The joy of realizing that you have progressed, the striving for the next better thing, the developed and printed (your own!) pictures on the wall that preserve a memory... how could I replace that?

I guess sometimes you just need a person to point you in the right direction to break new ground.
