Thanks for the comment. "Puppy" had just awoke from one of the many naps she took while still a tot. She hasn't started drinking. Yet! :-) People often assign human thoughts, feelings and emotions to animals and while some animals further down the food chain can show "emotion", predators can't afford to show emotion. I can be presented with a raptor with a traumatic amputation and they show absolutely no sign of pain. Where a human, dog or cat would be screaming in pain, the raptor remains stoic....m.
